My Frugal Feature on Mo' Money

As many of you already now I live a thrifty lifestyle and love to find a good deal. I even used my Christmas money to purchase a variety of new-to-me wardrobe staples!

Today my thifty-ness was featured on Mo' Money, a blog featuring living large with mobile coupons. Liz, from Mo' Money, uses mobile coupons for discounts on almost anything, even coupons for her craft supplies. She made these slippers socks for her boyfriend for Valentine's Day using coupons for the supplies and they cost her two dollars! Head on over to her blog to learn about how to use mobile coupons to save some extra cash.

Thanks for the feature Liz!

Good Mail Day!

Today was a great day for my mailbox! I received two packages of free samples, a box of laundry and hygiene products from P&G and a packet of three tea samples from Lipton. I also received my free Lean Cuisine rewards lunch bag, ALL IN ONE DAY! I love free things and many of samples have coupons too!

I visit the All You website daily to see what free samples they are promoting and participate in rewards programs for products I regularly purchase, such as Lean Cuisines.

P&G samples and personalized coupons just for me!

Lipton samples with a coupon.

Money Saver

Other than crafting, which is both fun and a money saver, I recently learned to save money by coupon-ing with the help of a local coupon expert Stormie.

No, I'm not as extreme as the women on tv, but it is fun and rewarding for me. Want to know how you too can be a moderate coupon-er? I clip coupons from the Sunday paper and usually check a few blogs before I head out shopping. The best blog I've found for the Michigan area is Centsable Momma. Centsable Momma even pairs up sales with coupons you should have for all the best stores!

Check out my "haul" today from Rite Aid. I bought 2 Pantene Pro-V Curls to Straight shampoos, 3 Garnier Expert Exfoliator facial gels, and 1 Covergirl eyeliner all for only $10.12. I even earned $10 off of my next purchase!

Please comment if you need more tips, I'd be happy to share my knowledge.
